Ron Vianu

Chief Executive Officer

Ron is a 20-year veteran of the healthcare and technology space. Ron is constantly trying to solve problems to bring value to our partners. He works tirelessly to realize his vision of empowering patients to select better providers and to connect all stakeholders online to improve efficiency and quality of care. Prior to Spreemo, Ron successfully founded several healthcare technology ventures. In his free time, you can often find him at a NYC café or enjoying Sushi at his favorite eatery, Momo’s Sushi Shack in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Ron studied Philosophy and Chemistry at NYU.

Raz Winiarsky, MD

Chief Medical Officer

As a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Winiarsky understands first hand the challenges in providing quality care in a world of fragmented medicine. His energy, focus and passions fuel the Spreemo team daily. He is Chairman of Orthopedics at Interfaith Medical Center in New York City and an Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at North Shore LIJ, Beth Israel Hospital and Englewood Hospital. Dr. Winiarsky received his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and underwent his orthopedic surgical training at University of Pennsylvania and The Hospital for Special Surgery. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Winiarsky is also the official Orthopedic Sponsor of the Brooklyn Nets.

Andreas Turanski

Chief Technology Officer

Andreas has over 20 years experience building high-performing technology and engineering teams to solve challenging problems in startups and large companies. At Spreemo, Andreas leads the company’s technology efforts and spearheads the strategy for development of new, innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes through high-quality care. Prior to joining Spreemo, Turanski lead Engineering at Jibe, a SaaS platform for recruiting, and was Chief Technology Officer of the Patch.com division of AOL, after holding several engineering leadership roles. He holds a S.B. in Computer Science from MIT. In his spare time, Andreas can often be found biking on Manhattan’s Hudson River Greenway with his son, eating plant-based delicacies at his favorite Blossom restaurant or volunteering with impactful nonprofits to make a difference.

John Peloquin

Chief Software Architect

John transforms our ideas into well designed, easy-to-use applications. Since his first exposure to programming in C in the 7th grade, John has been passionate about software development. He is also an accomplished technical editor; recent works include Professional Website Performance by Peter Smith (2012), Professional JavaScript for Web Developers, 3rd edition by Nicholas Zakas (2012) and JavaScript 24-Hour Trainer by Jeremy McPeak (2010). A recent transplant from the Bay Area, John studied math at Berkeley and philosophy at USC. When he is not thinking about software, recursion theory, or the existence of free will, John can be found doing stand-up comedy at an open mic.

Richard Herzog, MD, FACR

Executive Director, QRI

Dr. Richard Herzog joined Spreemo in September of 2013 as Senior Medical Advisor and now serves as the Executive Director of Spreemo's Quality Research Institute (QRI). Dr. Herzog is a nationally recognized radiologist and recognized by the Consumers Research Council of America as one of America’s top radiologists. Dr. Herzog is a major contributor to texts for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Herzog is Director of Spinal Imaging and Chief of Teleradiology at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Daniel Elgort, PhD

VP, Data Analytics and Research

Dan has over 10 years’ experience in healthcare research and data analytics. At Spreemo, he and his team of healthcare data scientists will work to drive innovation and leverage data to improve care quality and patient outcomes. Prior to joining Spreemo, Dan worked as a Principle Scientist and Global Head of Healthcare Big Data Analytics Research at Philips. He earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering studying at Case Western Reserve University and Johns Hopkins. In his spare time Dan can usually be found on a bike ride or run along Manhattan’s East River.

Monica Mohring

SVP, Corporate Development

Monica helps Spreemo navigate the complex world of Workers’ Compensation. Monica has over 15 years experience working with large insurance carriers, self insured employers, third party administrators and providers. She is well respected for her knowledge, integrity, and enthusiasm. A native of Pennsylvania, Monica is a recent transplant to Jersey City, NJ. She attended Westchester University in Pennsylvania where she studied Business Management and Studio Arts.

Paul Judge

EVP, Corporate Development

Paul brings a world of experience in all aspects of business development, customer service and strategy. Paul is an entrepreneur at heart having successfully co-founded and sold a U.S.-based electrical industrial controls company. Paul serves various roles at Spreemo, focusing primarily on enhancing customer relationships. Paul is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN. In his spare time he enjoys travel and rooting for his beloved New York Yankees.

Jonathan Lewin, MD

Director, Quality Assurance

Dr. Lewin is a trained spine surgeon. The precision required for surgical work can be seen and felt in every aspect of his contribution to Spreemo. He works closely with our team to ensure that we are always improving quality and outcomes. Dr. Lewin also serves as Director at The Center for Spinal Disorders in New Jersey, Director of Spine Surgery at North Shore Forest Hills and is Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. In his spare time, you can find him at a Brooklyn Nets game where he also serves as the Official Spine Sponsor.

Matanyah Seguev

Director, People and Operations

Matanyah works to develop a culture that enables Spreemo to understand and predict the true needs of our clients. With her help, Spreemo has a proven ability to exceed expectations on a consistent basis. Matanyah has over 10 years of customer service and management experience in the Health and Insurance industries. She has been Spreemo's Manager of Customer Service Operations since April 2013. Originally from Arizona, she grew up in Jerusalem, Israel, where she attended the Sivan Technical Institude. In her spare time, she can be found strolling or biking through Manhattan on her search for the perfect cup of coffee. She lives with her family in Forest Hills, NY.

Allon Yosha

Director, Provider Partnerships

Allon leads our efforts to develop a quality-driven platform of doctors across the U.S. He works closely with our medical advisors, sales, marketing and engineering teams to ensure we’re delivering the very best tools to our medical providers. Prior to Spreemo, Allon helped start and build software technology companies. Allon is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal. On any given weekend, you might find him in Brooklyn creating gastronomical delights at Schnitz or in Queens at a New York Mets game.

Charles Qian

Director of Growth Initiatives

Charles works primarily on strategic initiatives to help grow the company and take Spreemo to new heights. He has a background in corporate finance, with previous experience in investment banking and corporate development. Charles graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Cinema-Television. Originally from Atlanta, he is a huge fan of USC and Atlanta sports. On weekends, he likes to go to the movies and explore the city, particularly to look for the next great New York ice cream shop.

Daniel Mayer

Chief of Staff

Danny works on a number of strategic projects and initiatives at Spreemo. With a passion for healthcare, he works closely with Ron and the rest of the executive team to realize various growth opportunities and operational efficiencies. Prior to joining Spreemo, Danny was focused on healthcare investing at New Mountain Capital and previously, Credit Suisse, after earning an honors degree in Economics from Harvard University. In his spare time outside of the office, Danny can be found playing a variety of sports, including golf and beach volleyball.
